This data document accompanies the Portrait of Women’s Economic Security in Greater Miami. The document consists mainly of data tables and several charts, along with some analysis. The analysis is not exhaustive and is presented as a guide for the Women’s Portrait Committee in interpreting the data and discerning patterns in women’s economic security. From this data the Women’s Portrait Committee will learn much about the nature of women’s employment, education, income, work related benefits, and some policies that affect working women. The data presented here are only a selection of the work we completed for this project, but have been selected to touch on each area of interest in away that is comprehensible yet complete. A description of the methodology in contained in an appendix and additional data is available upon request.
